'The Mother'

By Bertolt Brecht
Translated by Mark Ravenhill

A powerful classic for our times

Pavel's mother doesn't approve of the protests in the street, but when her beloved son gets involved in the demonstrations she begins to think again

The last thing she expects is to find herself marching alongside him, but as she listens to the stories of those around her, this meek, respectable woman begins to ask how long she can keep silent

A small video of the last act of the Mother

Incredible performances of the cast, they will make you laugh, they will make you think and even cry.
Is real amazing how this cast is able to perform two theatrical show one after the other.

No matter the genre of the theme they are just BRILLIANT!

Many thanks to the great cast of The Steam Industry for their performance in these two theatrical shows
Until next August :)
