The Notting Hill Carnival
or as I would like to call it the Caribbean Carnival
Held each August Bank Holiday since 1966 it is the largest festival celebration of its kind.
The streets are filled with the aroma of Caribbean food from stalls and vibrant colourful costumes dancing away on almost twenty miles

Even under the rain I enjoyed the dancing Caribbean moves
Happy people celebrating...

not even the rain will stop the Carnival...
we are prepared and have umbrellas
dancing and shaking it all away now under the London sunshine...
happy people in colourful costumes
Now this is how you shake it...

some of the almost 1 million of people @ the Carnival
Or you can enjoy it from the comfort of a friend's balcony as they did...
the sun is out and more cheering from all of us celebrating...
Selling Caribbean goodies on the steps to the entrance of flats...
Da Caribbean Punch...
the streets were crowded with people and also many policemen to keep all calm so we could all continue celebrating...

Caribbean food on D'go ;)
Their patties...
their truck...
Met David and the lovely lady...
Amazing lovely people 'The Grill King"
Sometimes in life you meet people or I should say many people and that is all...but with these ones I felt da connection right away ;)
Lovely team selling their goodies as they say: 'No stress, No mess We BBQ for you!"
the best offer of all the food stalls as they were ready to give you a
"Free Hug which is included with your meal"
I got a family hug
Good luck King and your lovely team!
dancing with what I still hope to be chocolate sauce...
I had some all over my face :)
cheers ;)
Nice gang taking pictures with the police
How almost all stores and shops were closed for security purpose...
Even an artist painting right in the middle of the Carnival the scenery..
