The O2 Arena

When I was walking toward the arena what came to mind was that I pictured myself being here during this time of the year 2011 when Michael Jackson was supposed to give his last concert "This is it" oh well in another life time for him and me ;)
I came to meet with someone collaborate in a project but as with Michael Jackson, it was not supposed to happen. Since I was here I though might as well enjoy what the O2 arena has to offer.
Entering an exposition about Nissan cars and find it very interactive and nice to be greeted by my name...

Sponsored by SKY I walked through the 3D walking gallery
The necessary gear...
Through the football game where I felt there right at the game...
 Following the arrows towards...
 Nature....

Little did I know how much you can do here, it's not just a venue for concerts...packed with restaurants, coffee shops, bars and entertainment.

ThE FoLLY - The city's secret garden

Got a text on a Sunday mid morning saying: "Fancy coming for Sunday Roast to The Folly?"
Right... The Roast Revolution!
A whole chicken roast with lemon and thyme, bread sauce and crispy bacon served with beef dripping potatoes, glazed carrots, mashed swede, roasted parsnips, buttered greens, red cabbage and Yorkshire pudding!
Food was like home cooked

Decor of the place is just brilliant. Love the feeling of being in a garden but yet inside.

While minding the gap you can also be entertain by...

The free newspaper which I believe there is a morning post and an evening post which is very clever so you can have the news available to you while probably still sipping your coffee and/or eating your breakfast "to go". When you are commuting back home and if your work does not allow you to be in contact with the outside world you can also be in the loop with the evening post...interesting article to read when you have couple of days in this city...no? what do you think?

Love the billboards of the tube....
this one for example if you are a potato lover like I am...you not care much for reading but running to get those probably triple deep fried chips
DIESEL - Land of the stupid, Home of the Brave

Just BRILLIANT!

TFM & A - Technology for Marketing and Advertising -Trade Show @ Earls Court

Yeah...after few days in London I attended as an exhibitor with some colleagues the TFM & A - Technology for Marketing and Advertising trade show. We had the best booth teaser as we had the # 1 of the world look a like Marilyn Monroe. We also had some chocolates which I can still see in my hips :(
Massive venue for a trade shows.

She really looks like her. Let me know your comments...
right?

Mi Marido es un Cornudo @ Chelsea Theatre

You must know by now that I was born in Venezuela and this was an invitation from a Venezuelan friend to see a famous TV actress from my country.
Her name is Elba Escobar she was in the days I used to live there a very famous soap opera actress. In London  ‎@ Chelsea Theater with Elba Escobar in Mi Marido es un Cornudo...which I will translate I Am Cheating on My Husband. Funny, witty and most of made me feel like we still can believe there is women power!
A picture of her and me ;)

Night @ Circus

Circus is an innovative combination of West End cocktail bar and London cabaret restaurant set in vibrant Covent Garden, the heart of theatre-land.
Invited by the GM of Circus I was able to enjoy a night at this fancy restaurant. It is a combination of food & entertainment. I come from working at Cirque du Soleil and must admit that most of the time I am not impressed by acts as I consider Cirque to be the one that really stands out of the clutter. However, I was quite impressed with one act that I was able to enjoyed while sipping an amazing cocktail called Pomegranate & Kaffir Fizz which is English gin and pomegranate juice shaken with fresh citrus and kaffir lime syrup, charged with soda. Yes, perfect combination the act and the drink that drinks very smoothly ;) Now, I do have pictures of the act I am referring to which are from a contortionist that will balance her whole body with her mouth. As they say to believe is to see, please look for yourself at the pictures taken with my iPhone.
My meal... for starters I has the Hoisin Duck Salad with fresh coriander, toasted cashews (my fav nut)& sweet watermelon, recommend this starter by far as I was able to try the Empanadas and not very keen on them. For main I enjoyed the Scallops and Tiger Prawns pan fried in a citrus marinade, tossed in a salad of avocado, chermoula, saffron sour cream & baby leaves, great choice and lighter than the Josper Beef Steak with triple (yeah not once nor twice, but triple) cooked chips and bĂ©rnaise sauce that my friend order and absolutely tried. For my sweet tooth I ordered the Pecan Parfait with Frangelico, candied orange compote & orange sauce. See picture below. Highly recommend the Pineapple Tart Tatin with stem ginfer ice cream.

London to be a raining town or not to be

Sunny days is what London is not known as...however, I am starting to believe that is a myth. As I relocate to London (about 3 months ago) it has been warm and the sun has been shining almost everyday if not everyday...I have been procrastinating to start my blog this blog - London via MY iPhone ever since I arrived.
But since it is never too late...welcome all to my blog where you will be able to see London through my iPhone the events that I attended and will...hope you will enjoy my journey or should I say ride?
